The Japanese Pharmacopoeia (2nd year) Resume of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia 1, 2 (4th year) Practice of Clinical Pharmacotherapy (4th year) |
1. Clinical proteomics of bile acid modified proteins and studies on metabolism and disposition of novel bile acid conjugates
2. Analytical studies on conjugated corticosteroids by LC/ESI-MS.
3. Development of the analytical method of oxysterol sulfates by LC/ESI-MS.
4. Mechanistic studies on the expression of toxicity and detoxification of biologically active substances of low molecules via their metabolic activation.
Today, much attention has been focused on the analyses of precise structure of the total proteins from a body fluid, particular cell line, tissue, or organism to understand specific interactions between these proteins and biologically active substances of low molecules such as drugs, steroid hormones and bile acids. We are setting forward with the dynamic studies of biologically active substances and structure elucidation of chemically modified proteins in relation to pathophysiology by the basic proteomic technique, combined with use of mass spectrometry and computer assisted programs. The aims of our researches are also feedback information of the etiological and pathophysiological knowledge for drug development and cure for disease.
